Laax Open 2019

This January, I was lucky enough to be invited back to Laax - Europe’s unofficial home of freestyle snowboarding - to shoot the Laax Open.

I’ve attended this event for the past 6 years and it always feels like coming home. All the best riders are there, the facilities are truly world class, and Laax do an insane job at making you feel like you’re part of a big family.

The event is split into Slopestyle and Halfpipe, the latter of which, was at night for the first time, which definitely changed up the approach to shooting.

Here are some of my favourite shots from the event - I can’t wait to be back for the Sudden Rush Banked Slalom in March!
